Microsoft has issued a hotfix for the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 administrator console.

If users attempt to expand the Exchange 2000 rule group node in the MOM 2005 administrator console, it may crash without any errors. This occurs when the MOM 2005 administrator console is used to display information in double-byte character set languages like Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

The hotfix is provided on the international release CD, and must be applied to each computer that hosts a MOM user interface.
